Tal & Jenna met the day before school started, her freshman year of college at the University of Texas in Austin. Jenna’s suitemates, who she had just met, invited her to go across the street to visit some friends of theirs from home. After much convincing, Jenna went and ended up talking to Tal all night. After a year of friendship, they began dating and have been together ever since. Tal proposed to Jenna in September, 2004 (after 2 ½ years of long distance after college). He took her on vacation to Israel, where he was born, to meet his family and friends, and proposed on the beach of the Mediterranean in the town where he grew up. Tal and Jenna will be married 5 years this October, and have lived in Atlanta for 3 years.
